Title: Does anyone have a SONY HitBit HB-F1XDJ? How does it compare with a 6128 Plus?
Post by: zhulien on 19:26, 27 August 16
I have been wondering for some time whether to get an MSX 2 computer since I have the TV Titler... and the one I have thought mostly to get is SONY HitBit HB-F1XDJ.  Has anyone here with a CPC used one of these and how does it compare overall with a CPC 6128 or 6128 Plus?  Not so much the technical side as I can see those specs on the net, but more the good, bad and ugly using MSXs vs CPCs...

The MSX2 are, in my opinion, quite awesome 8 bit computers. In my case they obviously lack the charm of something I used when I was a kid, like the Amstrad range, since they were not even sold where I was living in. However, they have quite a lot of incredible games (Snatcher, Vampire Killer, Aleste, Metal Gear 2, Final Fantasy...) and SymbOS runs beautifully on them:

Definitely worth a try!

Symbos is definitely one of the main reasons i even noticed the MSX... aside feom the z80.  And i love computers inside the keyboards without big boxes...
