@Bryce to be honest I never heard name of your country in English, so I thought it's joke, and probably counted you as not defined as I remember. Now I see it's island close Africa and Portuguese speaking country. My bad, sorry.

I counted 1 person from Greenland as Denmark, about 3 or 4 from Wales as G.Britain.  The same from England. Counted 1 guy from Antarctica as not defined. And in cases different language than country were someone live now, so I counted by language not by place of living. Not everybody gave all info, so who know maybe some Franch speaking user is Canadian or something like that. Be cool it's only statistic. ;)

Some people set language english and don't mention about country or town, and no set flag, so I counted them as GB. But maybe some of them put it as declaration they can speak english, and in reality they are from more exotic place.

CraigsBar I counted you as Irish. ;)

Bryce what is your first language? Are you ware born there?

In STARS, TREK is better than WARS.

Yes, but the CPC was quite big in Australia and could be found in many schools throughout the 80s and early 90s. The Spectrum and Apple 2 computers were almost unheard of. It was Amstrad vs Commodore in the schoolyard :)

The Aussie schools I went to were full of Apple ][s and all the Kids I knew had c64s.
* Using the old Amstrad Languages :D   * with the Firmware :P
* I also like to problem solve code in BASIC :)   * And type-in Type-Ins! :D

Kinda the same here. Everybody had a c64, the nose high up. Damn snobs! And only one guy I did know had a CPC. Later I did learn to know more owners of CPC (I entered a computer club in Munich), but they didn't necessarily live in my neighborhood.

No long lost Paradise here...  At least not until you have consumed a few pints of the cider I make with those apples and berries

edit: Please excuse the image quality, that was just taken out in the garage, and it's dark out there!

I knew one kid at the secondary school I went to between 1991 & 1994 who had an Amstrad, though I never got to see it and by that stage we were both collecting AA Covertapes for the programs.  And when I was living in the Country, a guy from Neilborough got his letter in AA saying how me went into Bendigo every month to get his copy of AA, that wasn't me!  :laugh:  Might of been my friend from Secondary School, although I think he did have his Name & Address if people want to reach them.

It was around 1993/4 when my school started phasing out IIe's for Macs, I was a bit lucky to be using a 386 about that period too which was a huge update from the Electronic Typewriters I was using in '91.  :D

There were enough CPC owners in my small country town in the late 80's for there to be a amstrad computer club. Don't remember anyone having a c64, either. Primary school was one Apple IIe and one Atari 800XL (only got to use the latter) and Microbees when I moved to a different school. Highschool was a metric assload of BBC Masters/Compacts and a couple of Archimedes, before going wholesale to Macs in 1992.

So yeah, c64's just seemed to be nonexistent when I was growing up, although I definitely knew about them.

As to countries - I think it'd be unfair to only take members with >50 posts into consideration - indeed, as stated earlier, there are lots of lurkers...

Not even sure how Google Analytics defines a session, to tell you the truth...

Scratch that, just found heir definition.
