A thread from the English Amiga Board - it doesn't really stick to the subject but some good points are made re. the CPC.

EAB is full of useless topics with borring content from ignorant Commodore fanboys.

No doubt some of them are "ignorant" but others were/are CPC users...

TotO

It is about C64 fanboys speaking around received ideas just for trolling. This linked topic was oppened with a fake question that not wait an answer: "Why was everything Amstrad made in the 1980s such pathetic build quality AND ugly?"

It is just wasting time to speak with them.

You need to read further for what happens next TotO. The rest of the forum argue against the original poster (who gets banned for trolling).
An expanding array of hardware available at www.cpcstore.co.uk (and issue 4 of CPC Fanzine!)

Gryzor

Well that escalated quickly, but not in the way the OP hoped :D

That just confirm what I said. It was for trolling. ;D

Seems, that they deleted the full text, but Gryzor posted a copy here.
