Hello to all

I can't believe I only found this forum recently.

I bought my first computer a cpc464 in the late eighties had so much fun playing on my computer. No computer or console since has given me the joy the cpc464 did and will always remember so many wonderful games I played those three years. Really miss those days.

I later sold my CPC464 and bought a C64 which I really regretted afterwards. C64 was Ok but it never had the magic the cpc464 had.

There were a lot of great games but my fav game on my beloved cpc was John Ritmans Matchday II.

Welcome to the forum!...
I, like most of us, also grew up with the CPC... for me I was always fascinated by being able to write my own stuff on it with basic,

Over the years I moved onto the PC's and what-not, but these days I've come back to the CPC for some more 'down to basics' just for fun coding.
I've also been looking at the C64, but I can't really see anything about it to take me away from the CPC.

Anyway, I'm glad you've found the forum, and I hope you have fun with the CPC again, in whatever way you fancy - be it emulation, or real hardware from Ebay!

If you've not been following things, There's been lots of great stuff for the CPC recently - check out the 'Batman forever' demo or the new 'Pinball Dreams' both by Batman Group for starters... of course, maybe you already know that?
