Well, I've got my CPC 464 early in 1987 along with a CTM 644.
At that time all of my friends owned a CPC with the little greenish (GT-65 etc) monitor.
All of them kept coming to my place to play their games in ... color  :D

The CPC 464 was my first home-computer.
Replaced two years later (1989) with an Atari 1040 STFM and I was really pleased to see the 16bit difference (mainly in...games).
In-between, several video-game consoles also welcomed (Sega Mastersystem, NES, and later a Sega Megadrive) ;D
In 1990 an A500 arrived at home too and then...school marks started dropping...  :picard:
Fortunately I got back on track soon...

Later owned some more advanced home-computers and consoles such as an Amiga 1200, a 386SX and a few consoles such as Philips CDi (don't laugh), Sega Saturn, Atari Jaguar, PS1 etc.
Today I own a lot... as a hobby and mainly old-school micros and consoles that couldn't afford back then  :P .

Well, the 8bit and the 16bit home computers and consoles, will always be on the basis of nostalgia for me really.

And that's all about me.

Hope to enjoy it here folks!
Nick

Hi Nick!

I know the thing about color monitors: I had exactly one friend who had a 464 with a green screen (and no disc drive) so he could appreciate this. The others were like 'Wuts that? We can watch TV on our C64-Sets - and we have two joystick-ports!"... Quite devastating but I learned to be the Schneider-Guy... Was of help when we had to learn LOGO in school ;)

Welcome.
You're not the only one that had a CDi.

Though I got it for the video cds and not really to play games.
