Hello there, I'm Larry Bundy (Guru Larry) and I've been a lurker for a wee while, but just wanted to finally bite the bullet and say hello.
I used to do a retro gaming TV show on Sky a few years ago (Guru Larry's Retro Corner) and now mostly do stuff on YouTube...
I did this retrospective on the Thundercats game (and it's cancelled/renamed sequels) if anyone's seen it.
The Lost ThunderCats Video Games - Games Yanks Can't Wank (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGww6iixTgY#ws)
But I'm a big Amstrad fan, grew up with a 464 as a kid (first two games I bought were 180 and Feud) amd am trying to get a complete GX4000 collection, about 16-17 games in ATM, but I doubt i'll complete it anytime soon, if ever :(
But, I just wanted to say hi to y'all :D
Hello and welcome. :)
Welome Larry!
I can recommend the Thundercats video to everyone as its fascinating insight into what happened with the game.
Hi Al! ... Erm.... sorry, Larry of course! ;)
Have fun in the forum here. It never get's boring. And enjoy everything CPC. :)
Welcome mate!
I've edited your post to properly embed the vid (you must not use secure https). Gonna watch it later :)
Wow, until this video, i had totally forgotten Bomb Jack II, eventhough i now seem to remember having a bit of fun with this one...
Bomb Jack II was a great game despite it having the wrong license...
Ello Larry. Great vid that, watched it a while back. Good to see you on here bud.
Welcome Larry, nive video indeed :)
Welcome to our community mate!
Just watched the video, really it's not often that I get to learn new stuff that's so interesting :) Great vid!
For some reason I did like Thundercats on my CPC, even though -naturally- I never got anywhere. I can still love the tune though!
Hello and welcome to the forum Larry.
Howdy.
i posted your video on here about a month ago.
Loved your show on sky, that's how I found your youtube channel.
Hi Larry - I subscribe to your channel too.
I remember Retro Corner - wasnt it part of another show or is my alcohol ravaged mind remembering that wrong?
It was part of another show then they used to show the retro corner segment by itself.
