I've always been curious how many people here peeks from countries that do not belong to those in which Amstrads were most popular. Especially with those less numerous nations. Not everyone who is registered gave name of his country. Are there some Italians, Swiss, Portuguese, Dutch, Scandinavians, Russians, etc. ??
I know one Greek here, sometimes I see someone from Australia, and whether they are from other countries outside of Europe? :)
In STARS, TREK is better than WARS.

Dizrythmia

Yes, but the CPC was quite big in Australia and could be found in many schools throughout the 80s and early 90s. The Spectrum and Apple 2 computers were almost unheard of. It was Amstrad vs Commodore in the schoolyard :)

@Gryzor : Do we have a statistic from which countries forum members are from? Just curious if there is a 2nd or 3rd Amstrad user in a distance of 1000 miles.  ;)

nice national stats... the top6 is not really a surprise, yet I wouldn't have though there were so many aussies

I guess the language barrer works a bit... we have more CPCists in France (we were at least 23 at last ReSet#20 party...) and I know a lot of CPCists from France who deeply suck at english speaking.

I guess the very same applies for Spain, but you Spanish dudes would more easily try autotranslations from google, even at some french forums (which is always nice and fun).

Due to the good number and quality of French forums, I bet many Frenchers don't actually need to go to CPCwiki.
Anyway I love the Fact CPCwiki's forum really is the Hub for international CPC world exchanges as well as the most complete Database.

got to remember many lurkers would never post, nor post more than 50 things, but dudes like me would overcompensate anyway... (I am not alone in this...)

Note to autotranslator users : please also post the original text... actually to cross the two sources can be nice for better understanding, even a French like me with no real Spanish lessons/studies could understand some Spanish texts/parts the translator wouldn't properly convert by the cheer force of my general culture...  :D
(Latins rules !!!)

Would be cool if we could ship some CPCs to eastern Europa... I guess those Speccy cloners would love it and they really have a big Demoscene there...

They even have a Crazy Siberian Party 2015... in Siberia ? (captain Obvious) I guess
Would be nice to have Siberian Amstradists.
:o

Anyway the Language barrer issue seems even bigger with those Russians or even eastern Europeans.

I too have a nice Demoparty near my Home (Alchimie2015) and they really don't make any effort concerning their Website... which is in french only... too bad.
