Title: key ghosting effect?
Post by: blackdalek on 14:37, 11 August 17
Has anyone ever attempted to mod their CPC keyboard to "fix" the key ghosting effect? (when pressing 3 adjacent keys in the keyboard matrix causes a 4th key to "press")
I know joystick splitters address this issue by using diodes, but has anyone ever attempted to work a similar fix on the keyboard?

You must add a controler (and a properly wired keyboard) to fix the situation

A "controller' meaning... a controller chip?

i'm not electronician. I imagine you need to rebuild proper values the simulate the old grid (without key clashes)

You mean typing 'powert' is not a feature?

It isn't, under normal circumstances... except in the rare situation when you inexplicably find yourself holding down a bunch keys simultaneously ;)

Hence why I put "fix" in quotations, since it's not something that really needs fixing.
