With regards to those graphists people have mentioned.
I am not sure if MacDeath is actively pixelling. I know he follows certain sites and discussions, but I am not sure he has done much in, say, the later 5 years.
As far as I am concerned, Tolkin last published work is from 2005 (a couple of game previews or so..?), so I wouldnt really consider him to be active. Both Tolkin and MacDeath push their own pixels though.
Ced is active, but mostly working over transfered pictures. I mean, I am not sure I have seen pictures that are entirely of his own doing with a few exceptions from way back.
Barjack is active and walks both paths; does his own original stuff in addition to working over existing pics/themes.
Hwikaa is a new kid in town, so his catalogue of releases is short. But I know he is a professional illustrator, so I believe he will handle his own when the time comes.
Saw Tolkin in May, he is alive and we meet because of a CPC topic. But funny thing not related to GFX this time, but to speech synthesis. Some of us have scarce spare time, but still have the CPC on mind (an maybe even projects running...). ;) :) Also he dig GFX in the 201X years IIRC.
Well, I haven't seen anything released from Tolkin after that RPG preview from 2005 (?), so that is pretty inactive in my book. But, hey, happy to hear he's onto something that might move his status to 'active'. :)

Well, having released something after 2005 could be considered as 'active' if I have to absolutely quote my own self...

Right now? As in, 'this week'? Well, I don't know what Beb, Ced and Barjack might be doing this very moment, perhaps they are on vacation sunbathing. But in Demozoo I see that they have participated in numerous releases almost every year in the last decade. So, quite busy I would say. Wouldn't you?
