Title: Print "Hello CPC World."
Post by: wonderboy on 21:00, 28 November 18

Greetings folks!

Just introducing myself to the forum.  I had myself a 464+ in the early 90's and loved the thing.  Wonderboy was one of the very first games I played on the machine.  Followed by typing border 0 etc etc...  I was a keen boy programmer - but never got to try out Assembler, or draw sprites.  (Anyone ever succeed with that in locomotive basic?  Beyond cls screen loops and redraws?)

So, hello again.  I discovered cpcbox emulator, and a couple of other things - so will have some questions here.

God I feel all nostalgic now!

by the way, I'm an expat, living in the Phils.  Hence the little country flag.  UK originally.

The Plus machines had something called B-ASIC to tap into the additional hardware, though I have very limited knowledge on the Plus range, so haven't tried Hardware Sprites from BASIC. It would make for some interesting BASIC 10-Liners just to see how they stack up with the C64 and Atari Machines, as yet I haven't seen anyone do that.
