Title: The Apprentice winner Simon Ambrose with a CPC6128
Post by: Nich on 14:13, 23 December 16
I can't remember if the picture below has ever been posted to the CPCWiki forum (or indeed, any other CPC site) before, but I saw this picture on the Telegraph's site (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/tv/0/the-apprentice-where-are-they-now/simon-ambrose-series-3/). It shows Simon Ambrose, the winner of series 3 of the TV show The Apprentice, with a CPC6128 showing a digitised image of Lord Sugar's face.

I remember Simon saying on the programme at the time that he owned a CPC and played Jet Set Willy on it.

I wonder how they managed to get that picture on the screen. Did they use a VIDI digitiser, or did they convert it on the PC using ConvImgCPC and then somehow transferred it to the CPC?

is the cpc6128 actually on?

I think it's faked.

Perhaps using a MP-3 tv tuner?

Doesn't look fake to me. Perfect curvature plus the horizontal stripe...
