Before the count was reset the system used to take the average of the last several days' worth of visits and produce the rankings. But now, it seems that it only looks at each day's visitors, which doesn't make much sense...
Does it?

Yup I changed to daily list.
So every site has the same chances.
Its better than letting trolls climb up their sites always on place 1

So, because a site (maybe us) is doing good it's labeled as a troll? This makes absolutely no sense! The way it is now, if a site has, say, a connectivity problem for a couple of hours or something it will go down to the end of the list, then maybe come back up to the top etc etc... this is nonsensical, and it doesn't give a real picture.

Again: how is a site that occupies the first place consistently a troll? I remember when SymbOS' page was hogging #1 (partly because of traffic from the MSX scene), I didn't use to think Prodatron's site is a troll! Instead, I tried to make the wiki more successful...

As it is, maybe I'll take the TopLists code off the site, since it doesn't make much sense...

If a site has something good to offer then it will climb to the top places.

What would be best, under these conditions, would probably be a banner exchange thing, like the theme-specific "circles" of old... this way CPC sites would be promoted in all the CPC sites... I'd really go for that!

Changed to overall rankings.

Yay :)

...so, Phenixinformatique is first, with an average of 107 visitors/day, and there follow CPCWiki, Amstrad.esp and CPCPower with 183, 145 and 119 visits correspondingly :D

Oh well, I know sometimes the script craps out, it's just funny :) Thanks!

PS Oh... I just noticed that Phenix is going down :( :( :(

So, how is PhenixInformatique cheating? :D
