Transfer Games from PC to CPC 6128 +

Dear CPC Friends,

i am connecting a 3.5 FDD through Centronics to my CPC 6218 +. I give the command |b to access the second drive and the cpc stays frozen . The FDD used to work with an CPC 6128. Any ideas ? 
Is this is possible to make it work?
or how can i transfer games to my cpc from pc ? I searched the internet and there is a cable to connect them (parallel) and software. Can i buy such a cable on Ebay ?. I do have an old pc with parallel port.

Welcome on board 

Which cable did you use for connecting the drive to the CPC and the Plus ?
If both use a centronics one, note that the pinout is different.

this might be the reason that the centronics interface is not compatible with the cpc 6128 plus, because like you mentioned the pinout is different...  . What can i do ? i am not that good with electronics ? Is there any way i can buy this cable ?

I also use the same 3,5'' drive with my 6128 and 6128 plus!
I ordered the cable from ebay but contacted the seller before ordering, so that the cable was not GND at RDY line because the drive was modded to provide ready signal....
