One screen from the Amstrad Expo 2005 demo.

What a great screen!
Converted from a 16-Bit or PC?
I suggest hitting the pause button to see it clearly.

I thought the "shimmering" was due to it being viewed thru OSSC and then a TV so I
checked using a CPC monitor but it was more pronounced using that setup....

Could be but I don't know.

Not emulated - original hardware and software.
Please note that  the aspect ratio for this YouTube video is 16:9 but the CPC monitor
has an aspect ratio of 4:3 so you may wish to adjust your viewing device accordingly.

Hello, Thank you for your comment about this picture (I am Supersly, don't believe my nickname). This is a flipping mixing one screen in mode 0 and one screen in mode 1. That's all. This pictures is a complicate transfert from the PC picture.

If you like it, there is another picture in the same resolution presented in Forever C. That one was touched up manually. It is called Kvety :

Thanks for the info & link, I'll check that out today :)

.......Five minutes later - an excellent site, I'll be working my way thru it over the next few days :) :)

.......A few hours later - Kvety will be published on YT tomorrow and I'll update both vids with the info you have provided.

1st in the graphics competition at the Forever C demoparty in 2011.

As with the previous video pausing play removes the "shimmering" effect.

I assume the comments in both screens made to Barjack are "friendly banter"?

Yes, of course. Barjack told me he was working on a mode 1 flipping picture, but nobody have never seen it. So I pushed him a little for it te be released, thet never happened. A kind of private joke. I trolled him (and many people) too in the Amstrad Expo Magic Circus (plenty of french text, sorry) released in 2006.
