Hi everybody,
for my next project I'm experimenting with color flipping. I made a selection of colors and combinations that don't flicker too much, at least on my own monitor. But I'd like to know if it's different on other screens. So, if you use your CPC with a CRT monitor (be it the original or another one), I'd be very thankful if you'd take the time to run"disk and see if any of the squares flicker too much for your taste (and if so, which ones).
Thank you very much!
I'll have a look at it tomorrow for you and let you know what the result is.

Sure! I'll try it tomorrow on an original Amstrad monitor.
OK, using a 6128 and a Plus colour monitor.
Flicker is visible in blocks:
0,C
1,A
3,I
Less pronounced but also visible in 7,H
I did try on a standard CPC6128, CRTC1 and original CRT Monitor, and here's the result.
I've marked with a yellow square the ones that noticeably flicker. There are some that flicker more than others, but those are the ones that I notice quite a bit.
On Green screen GT65 all without fliker.
Thank you so much, guys, that's a great help! It's good to know that your results are actually similar to the results on my screen, depending on how "strict" i judge...
This community is very small, but really great!
Glad we could help!
Don't hesitate to tell us should you need to do some more tests.
Seasons Greetings, y'all! ;D
If you'd like to take another look at the newer version? I changed the palette a bit but I think this is really something I could work with...
Thank you and all the best
