CPCPOWER has the author as 'Syx' but CPCRulez has down
as the work of (J) Dave Rogers himself. Anyone any info?

Well, normally I would say that compilation would just have been done by someone called Syx. However, the way it is made and the comment above really has the connotation to be a work my D. Rogers himself - that would be awesome, if this is true.
Yes I was thinking that too, plus some of the BASIC loaders are dated - June 1987 & October 1987 found so far.
'Syx' posted a .dsk file back in 2011 so maybe he had just downloaded it from a site/found it in the back of a drawer/sitting on a HD?
SyX has just confirmed that he has recovered that from his old Amiga HD backup.
The data are from 1998. It is not his work, but the author is, for sure, Dave Rogers.
Anarchy music is one of my favourites. The game is good too.
