6128 + cassette - remote not working

I am trying to connect a data recorder (Panasonic RQ-8050) to my 6128. Loading and writing works, as long as I don't connect remote. When I connect remote, the tape won't start.

I have the pinout of the CPC cassette port, but I'm not 100% sure if the cable is correct. Pin 1 and 3 are both remote afaik. I tried it once with pin 1 and once with pin 3. Or do I need both pins to be connected to remote? Is there anything special to consider on the data recorder side? (2.5mm jack plug).

Hi @eto afaik the 6128 relay connects pins 1 and 3 to turn the motor on, so both should be connected to the cassette remote input.

thanks! I just found the schematics in the "Schneider CPC Systembuch" - this of course makes sense, but I first thought that remote also needs ground and that pin 1 and 3 are just the same.
