6128 sound issue

Hi all,


My 6128 had some sound issues: 1 canal is not playing sound in the right way and give a strange result like if it was buggy.
I have rework welding point all around the AY and changed all chemical capacitors but still same results.


I will try to change the AY in the next few days but if someone already succeed to fix this kind of issue, it could be helpful.

Hello, similar problem here with 6128 plus : it seems like some channels are lost. In its original monitor, the left speaker generates a glitchy sound and only the right speaker generates correct channels. Tried in different monitors or even with audio jack with same result.


Could it be the sound chip?

I replaced capacitors and the AY on mine, it works like a charm now
