I got a cpc 464, Zaxxon DDi-1 clone, a not-twisted-floppy-cable and a Hxc floppy emulator sd. Its connected as it should be, I think (DDI CLONE ASSEMBLY (http://www.eightbitclone.com/ddidiy.html) just like the last picture).
But when I type "cat" i says "Drive a: disc missing". Whats wrong? The Hxc seems to be working fine. Have a DSK-img converted to HFE selected.
The are two things i cant find any info on: how the jumpers should be placed and how to format the sd card (Fat32 its a start I guess?). Could that be the problem?

No guess about DDI clone, but a 10th pictures it looks like you "switched" the cable connector - shouldn't the "filed out" part be oriented to outside (like on the platine) and not inside ?

Have read manual and have tried testdisc. Didnt find anything there that could help me.

Okay, the format has to be FAT32 (Manual Page 12)
Jumpers "Disc A" for CPC (Page 11) should work.
Next possibility: wrong connection of floppy cable ("Twisted").

... and now it works fine... Moved the jumper for the 50th time and now it works prefect. Thanx for the help SRS ;).

@drummel can you post pics of pin positions from both zaxon clone and hxc emulator? Just for future reference.
I too, had to dig forums and try all kind of crazy combinations before I figured it out months ago.
Pics will help If more people crash land on this forum from Google in future ;)
