Connecting CPC 6128 to Samsung Syncmaster monitor

The good news is that the Amstrad monitor didn't go on fire. The bad news is that the Samsung monitor doesn't work with the CPC.

The forum isn't letting me upload a .heic photo but the on-screen message was: "Not Optimum Mode. Recommended Mode: 1440x900 60Hz ?"

To be honest I'm not surprised on the Samsung, I've tried a few different monitors and never got them working.  I think the number that can support 15hz is quite small.

You will got better chance with a flat tv with scart and vga connections.

I got the CTM-644 fixed so won't need to attach the CPC to another monitor :-)
