Broken EME-155 PCB ?

Hi !

I received this Amstrad 3" drive (EME-155) which got damaged during shipping.
Is this salvageable in your opinion ? My soldering skills are okay but not outstanding 🙂
I'm thinking the board needs supergluing at first, then restoring broken tracks somehow ?

Oof, but that's definitely salvageable.

You'll want to scrape the solder mask off the tracks and solder header pins across the break to try and provide some mechanical support.

Adhesives aren't going to do a brilliant job of holding the board together no matter what you do (hence the pins), but epoxy will have a better chance than superglue.

Some header pins are close to fall on the left for that usage.

Just bridge the 3 connections with metal pins such as the one's used on header connectors (the bent one's in the picture).
There's no sensitive parts in that area, so even hamfisted soldering skills should manage this.

Sorry for being dense, but with the white printing on top of the tracks I'm not actually which 3 connections there should be. Is there a diagram somewhere ?

Nevermind, found it and fixed it.
Unfortunately, it turns out the drive has other issues (disks don't lower or eject properly, step motor might not work) so I'm going to give up on this one and sell it cheaply for parts
