Hi,
does anybody knows how to connect the gx4000 to the xrgb mini from framemeister ?
I am using a regular scart cable and this cable:
EuroSCART to Framemeister XRGB Mini adapter cable csync (https://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/micomsoft-xrgb/european-scart-to-framemeister-xrgb-mini-converter-with-csync-lm1881-for-sale)
The xrgb does not recognize any signal.
Thanks
For me, I needed to use the adapter cable without the sync stripper in it, then it fired up fine providing you're using a full rgb scart cable (I.e. one that isn't just a basic composite signal one)
Ok thanks...i will try it.....(need to find the cable without the sync stripper).
Good luck, and don't forget to update the framemeister-firmware to the 2.00 - it's a pretty fast firmware :D
uh! i didn't know that there were cpc users using the xrgb framemeister!
Can you please tell us how this device handle the cpc?? the accurate of the image and the scrolls? even some pic??
thankyou so much! :D
The same for me, as I also thought about buying a framemeister and any info/review is welcome!

Ok, i will try it :) (next week thursday) but dont expect anything :(
Do you have a tip, which game/demo i can choose for image- and scrolling tests?

Relentless is a good candidate. You should have a smooth horizontal scrolling. If it's jerky, it's not as expected ;)
And for image perhaps batman forever? it has a pic near the end that i think it will be tricky for the xrgb...
and this demo perhaps will do the xrgb suffer

Hi,
I finally have succeed to connect the gx4000 trough the xrgb-mini with this new cable:
EuroSCART to Framemeister XRGB Mini adapter cable csync (https://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/micomsoft-xrgb/european-scart-to-framemeister-xrgb-mini-converter-with-csync-lm1881-for-sale)
powered via usb.
I tried Relentless. The picture is clearer than the direct rgb connection to a led TV but, as Gerald predicted, is jerky.
I will try to get better results and then i will make a video so you can see.
The only way I have found to get Relentless Smooth on any digital/vga display is with ACE running on Morphos on a MacMini G4 1.5ghz. This alone makes it the best CPC emulator in my book.
