Title: Hardware for making CPC videos
Post by: ComSoft6128 on 14:58, 06 October 20
Hi,

I'm currently using the OSSC and Hauppauge Rocket combination for making YT videos - mostly this setup works fine but due to audio drift and problems with some demos I'm looking for a better solution.

Any (polite) suggestions?

Hi Peter, I've got an old Sony PVR / DVD recorder that supports Scart Input, I'll try seeing if that works, you can pick these up cheaply.

It will probably struggle with the trickery much like your current setup, any ideas on a demo I could test it with that you've had problems with?
Cheers Trevor

Hi Trevor,

I've just done the video below and the main scroll at the bottom of the screen is jerky - not smooth as displayed on the monitor. Also if you look at the end of the video when the demo is finished you can hear the music continuing after the CPC resets to AMSDOS.

Thanks,

Peter

I'll see if I can find the demo and get it setup and try, will let you know how I get on, could be a couple of days.  Cheers Trevor
