Has anyone used the PCB Way Multi CRTC Selector?

I can see someone has created a PCB to select 1 of the 3 CRTC Types (0,1 and 2) via a power jumper and I can also see an old post on the subject, Old Post about changing the CRTC.

I have some concerns about whether it will work, so wondered if anyone has any experience regarding this method of selecting the CRTC types?

I am concerned about the physical fit under the keyboard and also about having multiple CRTCs attached to the pins even if not powered.
