No issues on any CRT be it a scart TV or cm14. At least not for me.

GX4000

Much better on the small screen CRT TV, lines barely noticeable, however playing games they are gone.. They only seem to be noticeable in the C4CPC cart selection screen strangely enough

Which is a screen I was having major issues with before I cut the SCART select pin. A link?

As I mentioned the amount of coverage of bright colours caused issues for me, but also the overscan mode uses on the C4CPC menu system.

Have you tried forcing the SCART to composite to see what happens?

I'll try this now, can you go into more depth into cutting the SCART select pin?

It's pin 16 as per the diagram below. From 0v to 0.4v it will select composite, from 1v to 3v it selects RGB.

Do you have a composite A/V only SCART lead? I'd suggest to start with just trying that with the GX4000 as it would be interesting to see if the issues remain or vanish if you are on composite.

I would show you how I wired my connector but (a) I glue gunned it shut because I wanted to use a switch on the SCART and I couldn't get it to hold and (b) Bryce has pointed out there is a better way to do it with capacitors but I couldn't get that way to work because I'm an imbecile.

Try composite first before we get destructive (unless you have a million spare SCART leads lying around as I do) in which case to begin with just cut pin 16 on the SCART and try a 1.5v battery. Negative to ground on the SCART, positive to pin 16.
