Hello,

i've a reisware mouse. It looks like it is coming from the cpc mousepack.
If i plug it into my 6128 there comes lots of characters. Is this behavior normal?
Should i load a mouse Programm before using it?

Hooe ro use it with symbos (another working place at the moment ;)

Congratulation for owning this one! :)
The Reisware mouse/"mousepack" is an MSX mouse connected to the CPC with an additional 5V powersupply coming from the monitor (the CPCs Joystick port unfortunately doesn't have 5V in contrast to Commodore, MSX, Atari etc.).
If you press the left mouse key before powering on the system (or was it the right one?) it will behave like a joystick (like all MSX mouses), so it will only produce arrow symbols of you move it.
You can use it in SymbOS as a joystick mouse (like AMX ect).
I am still planning to support it directly in MSX mode in SymbOS, as it is then much more accurate.

Ohhh, good and bad to know!
Good in cause of the mousebuttons. Bad because of the power source - don't have the cable for the power supply.
It is a black one with yellow buttons.
