Hi friends,

I have a JVC TM 90PSN 9" RGB Monitor with RGB (TTL) and BNC inputs. I dont know it works before i got it.
I want to make an RGB cable but there isnt enough information about this machine and also i dont really have enough knowhow that kind of things.
What i understand is this monitor has an TTL RGB which is digital RGB input with 8 pin din and two other BNC inputs.
First i try to get an image from Amstrad with regular RGB to Scart cable and a rca converter, connect to BNC input. The cable i use is like this;

And get an image like this;
The red area is Amstrad's basic screen. When i type, new caracters appears. So, signal is going through the monitor.
But screen appears like garbage.

My monitors back is like this;
It's dirty, i havent clean it up yet  :)

Any kind of help will be accepted  :)

The pictures are missing in your post so it's hard to tell what exactly is going on with the picture, but just from the specs this won't be a quick solution.

1) TTL RGB:

This probably won't work for you. TTL is digital input. Your Amstrad delivers an analogue signal.

It also doesn't seem easy to modify this monitor to accept an analogue signal.
You can find the schematics in this service manual: https://usermanual.wiki/Document/JvcTm90PsnKMonitor.1252372197

Page 14 is the TTL input and how it is converted internally.

2) Video IN:

I guess this is a Composite Video input.

Unfortunately the CPC does not provide a true Composite Video. However you can use the Luminance output of the CPC which is kind of a greyscale composite video signal and often works.

If you want colour you need to convert the RGB signal to composite sync. Not sure if there are devices available commercially but these options are documented on the Wiki:

Hi,
    have you tried Input 2 (both in open and 75R)?

Bryce.

Hi Bryce, yes i tried both input 1 and 2 also 75r and open. I get the signal both inputs only the switch is on the open.
