Title: wanted please - CPC464 tape counter
Post by: daznic on 13:24, 18 September 15
Does anyone have a spare (fully working) CPC464 Tape counter mechanism that I could buy from you ?

My 464 came with a non working wobbly reset button on the counter, I took it apart and found a broken piece of plastic that resets the counter.

I'm in UK (Chester) but will pay postage from anywhere.

Thanks !

Mine went the same way many years ago. I never found a replacement so got a 6128plus instead. Sorry I can't help :(

I had ten (almost) replacements. They are very similar but the mountings were slightly different. Beaker bought one of them from me, so maybe he can expand more on how easy they are to install. I can check with the supplier whether they still have some. They were about €9 each as far as I can remember?

Bryce.

If you could, thank you. I am turning the numbers to zero manually with a small screwdriver at the moment !  :(

Second hand car dealers used to use an electric drill to turn the milometer back. ;)
