Turrican never appealed to me that much to be frank, but the CPC version is fairly nice. Turrican II is also good, though the main sprite is ugly!. The c64 versions are quite fluid, but boy those colours are sooo washed out!
The Spectrum is... sorry, can't contain my laugh :D I wonder if they could've made something better out of it...
Well, an MSX1 version could have been greater, seing the Speccy one... 8x1x2 attributes and Sprites could save it, also different palette could help.
The MSX1 palette is less flashy and offers more contrasts.
This game is a good example of why colour clashes feature is a shame.
Yeah... "feature" :D
