Review, longplay & walkthrough for "Assault On Port Stanley" on the Amstrad CPC! This is fun little game featuring three different sections, based on the Falkland Islands conflict (like Harrier Attack also from Amsoft). What drew my attention to this game is the final section which is a River Raid clone! The other two sections are based on Beach Head and 1942 by the looks of it! Each section is very simple, but well programmed and done for its age - certainly by 1985 and Amsoft standards!! Also know as "Asalto" in Spain (c) Amsoft 1985 cpc-power.com en.wikipedia.org[/t][/t] From: Xyphoe (http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFji91gjx1g58cAMUnVs9qg) Views: 0 (http://gdata.youtube.com/static/images/icn_star_empty_11x11.gif) (http://gdata.youtube.com/static/images/icn_star_empty_11x11.gif) (http://gdata.youtube.com/static/images/icn_star_empty_11x11.gif) (http://gdata.youtube.com/static/images/icn_star_empty_11x11.gif) (http://gdata.youtube.com/static/images/icn_star_empty_11x11.gif) 0 ratings | Time: 06:00 | More in Gaming (http://www.youtube.com/videos?c=20) |

Huh. Levels 2 and 3 are actually pretty good. Simple, mindless fun. Considering it's Amsoft, 1985...
I also like how the game ends without anything special happening in-game, not even level-design-wise. Just "mission accomplished", but imagine being 10 years old and getting there... Yeah!
