Quick review today! Battle Ships on the Amstrad CPC based on the famous board game. A pretty good home computer version of it, nice for a quick game. I don't think this ever got it's own full price release - but instead was first featured on the Hit Pak compliations (along with other classics from Elite) before being released on it's own on Elite's budget label Encore. I enjoyed this vid as much as playing the game. I think they did as good a port as possible, lots of nice touched there! I still remembered the shot sound slowing a bit occasionally... :)

this is a impressively well realised little game.

I loved this one too.
