[AMSTRAD CPC] Mikie - Longplay & Review

Mikie (aka "High School Graffiti") arcade conversion to the Amstrad CPC - review and longplay. Well... a rather short longplay, we're just looking at one playthrough because the game loops continuously. If it had got any better I might have continued through a few steps, but it's really poor version of what was a rather fun coin-op! Run through your school collecting hearts by farting your class mates off their chairs(!), headbutting teachers(!!), throwing basket balls at janitors then meat at angry canteen staff etc then present them to your girlfriend waiting outside the school who'll great you with love and kisses! This was one of the first games i ever played in the arcade!


I loved the CPC version of this. Even if it omitted a move (you could kiss the girls off the seats in the arcade), my cousin had the Konami Coin-Op hits collection and brought it with him to my place, and i got him to load it back up before he left. Didn't have a double tape deck at the time, so it was a case of load it and leave it loaded.


Gutted when i had to power the thing down for the night.


Finished it time out of number when I was younger, now i can barely get out of the locker room!

That was actually a bad CPC design, he's not supposed to be farting at them, he's supposed to be bumping them off the chair with his hip, but it certainly looks like he's farting them off.


The amount of times i used to throw a blanket over the front of the monitor so the glare wouldn't be seen in the overhead window because i couldn't bear to switch it off after getting so far into a game!
