Dynamite Dux review and longplay / walkthrough for the Amstrad CPC! Arcade conversion to the Amstrad of the great fun cartoony Sega scrolling beat/shoot-em-up! Not so well known in the arcades, but known to be a great conversion to the Amstrad. One of my favourite CPC games I got when I was still a kid :) Converted by the "Rick Dangerous" guys - Core Design who later went on to make Tomb Raider... Request for YouTube user "PURES3X", but I've been wanting to do this anyway for a long time until I worked out how to get around an annoying bug that occurs on the end boss battle on level 3... Kicking myself for not buying this game when it was released as it's very well programmed indeed. What are the screen dimensions of the game?
(Did you mention the 2 player mode?)
Wouldn't call it "absolutely gorgeous" or the gfx "absolutely stonking" (is that what you said?), but yes, it looks nice and scrolls very smoothly. But I got tired of cute characters so early on... :(
