Nice Review! Remembers me about a real great game. A bit similar, but with 8 ways pixel-precise MODE 0 scrolling... called Burning Wheels... worth to check out:

GP Simulator II and Super Sprint were far better...

Gotta disagree with you on Super Sprint. Playing area was tiny and the controls were fiddly as hell. Wasn't bad as part of a compilation or a budget release, but as a full price release it was an absolute disgrace.
Given the cheapo price of this, the larger playing area, the attempt at speech (which wasn't used often back then), and the title tune, gameplay wise, this blew Super Sprint out of the water...

... if you could ignore the fact that you were controlling a lego block.
Currently playing on: 2xCPC464, 1xCPC6128, 1x464Plus, 1x6128Plus, 2xGX4000. M4 board, ZMem 1MB and still forever playing Bruce Lee.
No cheats, snapshots or emulation. I play my games as they're intended to be played. What about you?
