Longplay / walkthrough and review of "TURRICAN" on the Amstrad CPC! One of the best games ever on the Amstrad, whilst not as good as the C64 original this is still amazing in so many ways! Especially for the smooth multi-directional parallax scrolling! There's so much to this game from all the different weapons and enemies, boss battles, scrolling shoot-em-up sections, wonderful graphics, animation and sound effects - to the game itself which is a brilliant mix of platforming, shmup and exploring! A truly wonderful game. It's a very long longplay at nearly 1hour 30minutes! Here I've tried to show you hidden areas where there are extra bonus life pickups - because you will need them!! Maybe I'll do another video one day of a speedrun because it can be comleted a lot quicker :) Anyway, enjoy! For some reason I never really liked the game - played it, sure, looks superb and all, but it didn't grab me - but the review is ace!
