Longplay / walkthrough and review of "VENDETTA" on the Amstrad CPC! Oh god, another poor conversion of a great C64 game from SYSTEM-BLOODY-3 ... why do I put myself through this? Well I was intrigued... the C64 original was basically Last Ninja but a rough-tough ex army / secret-service black-ops dude, but the other half of the game was driving a Ferrari F40 and blowing the shit out of stuff! So it's Last Ninja with Outrun meets Chase HQ meets Road Blasters. Or a better TechnoCop! Except the Amstrad version is utter pants. And is probably the worst conversion from System3 which is saying a lot! Watch on and weep.... Oh wow. I don't remember playing this, but it looks... very dated. The first part looks very like Vindicator in its gfx style - wonder if there's a relation?
The mechanics in the first part, as well as the GUI, are not bad. The second part, though... ouch. Looks like an early Apple title! You forgot to add the Overlander likeness!
