Yeah, Titus was producing a lot of amstrad things, mostly becasue it was a French company... They often had great graphics, gameplaywise, not always that good though... Most of their GX4000 games were crap despite using a lot of features or being actually ported for the system (CPCport though)...
Fire and Forget is certainly the only good game from titus on GX4000.

Sadly some Titus the fox/Moktar, Blues Brother or Prehistorik came after GX4000 short lived exploitation...
They really made a nice bunch of platform games, but was after 1991-1992 I think and the CPC version are not so good, despite good looking.


IMO Prehistorik 1 could have been a nice PLUS game :
=get it to scroll.
=use some hardsprite for player's sprite...
=some repalette into PLUS...
and that's it... could then get less crap gameplay... or not ?

They never talk about Magic Pinball... not the most well known game nor the most easily available... but it is quite a decent game as well. And yeah, both tennis games are nicely done and great.

The problem with things like Prehistorik 2 is that you'd have needed to write a very different engine to take advantage of the Plus properly. It's difficult to just bolt features on to a CPC game without that feeling relatively obvious.

Looks like an interesting issue though, will have to pick a copy up.
