Here's an article I came across today while looking through back issues of Personal Computer World. If the Greengage was actually sold, it seems to have been a very well-kept secret; I've never heard of it before today.

(An aside: The last time I read that issue was in the school library when it was published, ie 1992. I still found occasional bits that I remembered from first time round, like the review of RocketShare for the Mac, or the line in Michael Hewitt's column that his fileserver's hard disk "got stuck on slow spin, or rinse cycle, or something equally vertiginous").

Interesting.

That awakens a vague 30 year old memory (from 8000 Plus?) of something similar - wasn't there a company that offered to convert your PCW into a dual OS - CPM/MS-DOS machine - might even have been an article on that?

Thanks for the link John,

That was exactly what I was thinking of.
I wonder how practical it was in operation?

Cheers,

Peter
