Title: Amstrad PCW Monitor Question
Post by: DoctorCPC on 03:41, 02 September 21

I have Amstrad GT 65, Schneider CTM 644 monitor for Amstrad CPC. Amstrad PCW already consists of monitor itself. I dream of an Amstrad that can be used forever. I am now using LCD monitor for Amstrad CPC. I have a quality converter for that. but what solution should we apply if the Amstrad PCW monitor is broken? or is the broken Amstrad PCW monitor always fixable? because I can't connect PCW with a converter like CPC series. because Amstrad PCW computer already consists of monitor. I need your opinion on this subject. I want to use Amstrad CPC and PCW forever. with real hardware, not emulator. but by modernizing these devices.

For the PCW you'll need something like the PCW-IO card, in order to get composite video output and keyboard support: http://www.habisoft.com/pcwwiki/doku.php?id=en:hardware:perifericos:pcw-io (http://www.habisoft.com/pcwwiki/doku.php?id=en:hardware:perifericos:pcw-io)
