Title: Eme-232 A or B drive in pcw9512
Post by: tjohnson on 09:42, 09 December 20
I have a Pcw9512 with a 3.5" A drive and  eme-232 B drive.  I think it's a 9512 not a 9512+ but will need to check that as I've not used it in a while.  I want to swap the drives around so the eme-232 becomes the A driver.  The 3.5" has an adapter board attached with a jumper for A or B, does anyone know if the eme-232 needs any hardware modifying to act as A drive?

I just tried the drive in my 6128 and I get "disc missing" error.  When I try running RPM on it I get disc missing error too.  I just noticed when I powered on the 6128 with the drive, every power on it's stepping the drive motor forward a notice.

Just noticed it's an EME-232v

Any ideas?
