I have a number of PCW manuals and related books I am looking to get rid of - thought I'd give them a chance to go to a new home before they get chucked out.

List is as follows:
Amstrad PCW8256/8512 User Guide - CP/M Logo & Word Processor Manual
Amstrad PCW8256/8512 User Guide - CP/M Logo & Word Processor Manual (earlier printing?)
A Practical Reference Guide to Word Processing on the Amstrad PCW8256 and PCW8512 by F.A. Wilson (ISBN 0-85934-161-5)
Locoscript 2 with Locomail, Locospell and Locofile by Ian Sinclair (ISBN 0-632-02861-0)
Locoscript 2 User Guide (Jan 89 ISBN 1-85195-008-7)
Locofile The pop-up database for LocoScript 2 (May 89 ISBN 1-85195-012-5)

All I ask is that you cover the cost of postage - to UK it will average around £5, depending on what you're after.

Hi @Devlin !

I'd like to have the following books for the PCW Wiki:

Amstrad PCW8256/8512 User Guide - CP/M Logo & Word Processor Manual (Modern Amstrad logo)

I'll send a PM as soon as I check if we need any other of the remaining books so we can arrange the shipping.

Thank you very much!

Devlin

Modern logo? Is that the one with the stripe on it? I'm not sure which is which, personally.

Yes, the one with gray background and the purple strip.

I've put the four in your post to one side for now - I'll await your PM and will get back to you with the postal cost when I can.

Well, how many versions of the manuals were there then?

The two versions shown here are nothing like mine.

My PCW will have been part of the initial release 1985.   I've got the two manuals, which are spiral bound which is always handy for regular reference.

Mine are marked as PCW 8256.   Only.   No reference to 8512.

The CP/M manual is marked as 'Book 1' in the upper left, the BASIC manual is marked 'Book 2'.

My manual seems to be somewhat thicker that the one illustrated here.

Is it recorded how many different versions there are?

Your guess is as good as mine. I tried to find out information on it but didn't find much luck in doing so.

Looking inside the front cover, the one I have is likely to be the Third Edition, printed 1986.
