Title: Write dsk on 3"5 floppy for PCW8512
Post by: r3no on 19:16, 24 February 20
Hi,
I'm new here.I have connected a 3"5 floppy drive in replacement of original 3" B drive. It works well and I can format an copy files to it.So I would write dsk files stored on my PC and use them on the PCW.I can make dsk file from 3"5 floppy written with the PCW. For that I use Samdisk. But I when I write DSK files downloaded from my PC, floppy disk generate errors and is not readable.I know that the disk whould be 700kb but I don't know how to convert 180kb image to 700kb.

Can you help me ?
Thanks

Bonsoir,
Merci.

Welcome!

I suggest you use the wonderful CP/M Box emulator, insert the 180kb disk on drive A, a blank 720kb disk on drive B and use the pip command to copy the files from one to the other.

Then write the new dsk with samdisk.
