Adelaide Retro Computing Group: Next Meeting

I know that there probably aren't too many people (if any) from South Australia on this forum, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

This Friday the Adelaide Retro Computing Group are hosting an Amstrad CPC & Commodore 64 night. I'll be making a presentation on the GX4000 & Plus range, with someone else making a presentation on the Commodore 64.

If you're in the area it should be a good night!

I'm from Adelaide!
Except I won't be able to make it this Friday night.
:(

Would've been awesome to come along with my 6128 and have RUNCPC playing on it, and talk about its development to anyone interested!

AMSDOS

Good to hear it's still going, sadly I'm in Melbourne and would be tough for me to give work short notice just to come to Adelaide  :(
* Using the old Amstrad Languages :D   * with the Firmware :P
* I also like to problem solve code in BASIC :)   * And type-in Type-Ins! :D

Get in touch with them & let them know. They'll probably ask you to do a presentation on it :)

wait, how com you don't all have feet upward ? I believed you were all reversed there...
Also I can't attend there, I don't have criminal record they won't let me in the country.

QuotePaul Monopoli from the Retrospekt team will present the Amstrad Plus/GX4000 line from the early 90's.
That surely is a nice move.

Hope to see a lot of pictures of the event afterward, and hope RickDangerous128PLUS will continue to be the de facto test demo for the X128PLUS range.

I always feel proud when someone launches it to test a 6128PLUS or a 464PLUS/GX4000 with upgrades...

;)
