Ok, back from there, went better then expected beside some Canadian invasion... so far the biggest "french-speaking" Amstrad CPC event of the year I guess.

Good to see you all.
I could even pixel a bit and learn things again.

Was surprised at the amount of legendary sceners pesence and I could at last check Demoniak's impressive musculature.

Bon retours dans vos pénates les z'amis.

2019 edition was :

= around 30 "active" Amstradists (and many other guys who owned amstrad too anyway).
= at least 3x Revision silver medals awarded groups around the amstrad corner.
= Legendary tool developpers and historical coding skill references everywhere.
= conferences by the avant-garde of the machine.

= Official previews of impressive Amstrad future games that could have changed the game 30 years ago.

= almost continuous Twitch live stream.

= food, drinks, guys from other machines scenes, zillion metric tons of coffee and Pogne de romans.

= many embarassing revelations concerning the ones who weren't there (you just should have come).
;D

If some Spanish/German/Greek/Britons/Australian want to come to next edition in 2021, you may all be welcomed...
Saucissons et pinards seront là...

My first Alchimie was a great party with many interesting people who I had only discussed virtually with! I hope to see you all soon in real-life once again.

@Targhan At the same time, it must be said that you are a very interesting person with projects that are also very interesting as well as ambitious.
I loved your little tour of the possibilities of Arkos Traker 2, so I must also say that I find the interface to be quite professional.
Meeting you was one of the nice surprises of this weekend, and I only hope one thing, that we'll do it again.

@Golem13 Well, I don't think I deserve such praise, but thanks anyway! :)

Obviously, your answer doesn't surprise me :)

MacDeath

yeah, the "Arkos tracker improvised master class" should have been filmed and recorded, I am a bit ashamed I didn't follow it more closely to be honest (was occupied on the other side of the tables)... some live stream on this would be great, or some conférence, next time, please.

ah et au fait, tu étais au courant de JB le Daron aussi il fait de la batterie ?

JayBlood

Nice party, with massive Cpc coders/users/musicians/etc....Very happy to meet some guys, and I want to say thank to:
Targhan for his awesome work on Arkos 2; and explain me some tricks to start create my own chips with. ;)
Golem 13 for his work on GnG Cpc+ !
Toto, and his passion for the Cpc. Ced, a very talentuous graphist on Cpc.
And others dudes who make Cpc deffinitively my favourite machine. :)

Updated the CPCwiki Alchimie page.

will develop a bit when other reports are available, and will add a few photos as well.

Overflow is missing on this picture as he was lost in warpzone and vaporwared to the unreachable when we could all gather...

Definitely true. But it was my first Alchimie, I didn't know "anyone" could pretend reserving a conference slot. Nor did I know more than one people would be interested :).

Seem like you had a good party! You guys wanna label the pic - who is who? Would be nice for people that don't know "the CPC scene" that well (like myself)  8)

yes I was somewhat aroused... but probably more decent on other pictures... (I am holding my belly, not the snake under...) Also was drinking a Guinness...

my feeling, should/shall/will be turned into a trombinoscope because it's somewhat almost half the modern who'swho gottha of french amstrad community...

I loved every nano-second of that picture... sad she wasn't in need of me and already in charge...  :'(

Great picture with all the dudes. Seems like it was a great party. But what about the releases? Hicks promised some things in the memory full forum:

"Some productions will be released or just showed during this event:

- ImpDraw v2 by AST
- Slap Fight preview by Toto (2 playable levels)
- a mysterious game by NoRecess & CeD
- probably Ghost'n'Goblin remake by Golem13 ?
- the next Futurs' demo by Offset.
- and ... ?"

Anything from that list been released? I only saw this Plus demo by Roudoudou...
** My SID player/tracker AYAY Kaeppttn! on github **  Some CPC music and experiments ** Other music ** More music on scenestream (former nectarine) ** Some shaders ** Some Soundtrakker tunes ** Some tunes in Javascript

My hardware: ** Schneider CPC 464 with colour screen, 64k extension, 3" and 5,25 drives and more ** Amstrad CPC 6128 with M4 board, GreaseWeazle.

TotO

I think it is because showed do not mean released.  ;D
