Hello all,
I am happy to announce that I finally managed to create 10 AMSTRAD disks with my games.
I made a limited amateur physical edition, just for fun, and in order to encourage similar actions from others.
All disks are formatted with multimark and have an <error> file in each side (in order to isolate the bad sectors), but this only affects the capacity of the disk which is a bit smaller now. All games written in each disk were tested today and all work normally.
So, I bought some paper boxes, some stickers for the box and the disks, printed an A4 2 side color manual, and there is a also a sticker as a present.
Four years ago, when I discovered Amstrad again, I could not imagine that I could create these games and make an amateur physical edition. This happened due to the help in the retro forums, and mostly CPCwiki forum, where so many people helped me without anything in return. I know that my games are really simple, but it is an example that a person with no knowledge of programming or hardware can create at least something, if there is support from other people.
So, the first disk will go to a member of the forum for free, what is needed is only 3 euros (as <help> for the postage if you are the winner), mostly to avoid people entering the draw without real interest.
So, i made a small program for the draw, in really simple BASIC (20 names for now can be entered) that I attach. You can be participate by writing in this thread and mention it, until Friday night. I will make the draw on Saturday and then upload the video.
For anyone that is interested in buying, you can pm me, but you will automatically participate for the draw. Profit is not my goal, not sure about the price, at about 20 euros including postage (to everywhere in the world). But there are very few disks and I cannot produce any more (not willing also for buying disks just to sell). If anyone really wants it and money is the problem, he can ask me via pm for discount. I am an amateur creator, so do not expect professional quality or fast shipping, it is something just made with love for Amstrad, and also I have no profit from that.
Thank you all! Anyone willing to participate in the draw?
