ACE v1.6 – emulator for MorphOS (http://www.octoate.de/wp/2014/04/26/ace-v1-6-emulator-for-morphos/)
26 April 2014, 7:00 pmOffseT released a new version of his emulator for the MorphOS (http://www.morphos-team.net/) operating system. It emulates the CPC old generation and, since the latest version, the CPC Plus, too. The emulator was written from scratch, so it isn't just a port of an existing open source CPC emulator. If you are a MorphOS user and want to use your CPC software under MorphOS, don't hesitate and download it from the ACE homepage (http://ace.cpcscene.com/).

Anyone running MorphOS in here?
Sadly, the PSU had killed my "like new" PowerBook just before trying it, 2 weeks ago. :'(
Nope. From time to time I use HaikuOS in a virtual machine, but I have no PowerPC hardware :).
Can you do PPC with a VM system under Windows?
AFAIK Qemu should be able to emulate a PowerPC with OpenFirmware, but I never tried to run MorphOS in it.
Hmmm Qemu... not the simplest thing. I found this: PowerPC emulation: Qemu, PearPC, or... ? - Stack Overflow (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8971839/powerpc-emulation-qemu-pearpc-or)
- Install Cygwin with all important libraries
- Download qemu for Windows from - Qemu On Windows (http://lassauge.free.fr/qemu/) and unzip it
- Now download powerpc VM from Index of /~aurel32/qemu/powerpc (http://people.debian.org/~aurel32/qemu/powerpc/) and put it inside qemu folder
- Now open a cygwin terminal and go to the qemu folder inside the terminal, then type- ./qemu-system-ppc -L Bios powerpc_linux.qcow2 -net nic -net user -m 1024
Here only change the VM name powerpc_linux.qcow2 to the correct one.
Maybe with PearPC?
Had tried it a long time ago, got frustrated with it and just gave up. I see it hasn't been updated in three years, which is a shame... but maybe I'll give it another go.
