Sad news, he passed away on the 21st of August.

I didn't know him back in the day, but I have been enjoying his art in the new Crash and Amtix, and the annuals as well.

Sad indeed... Don't know much about the man but the art he left behind did leave quite a mark...

Was about to say quite the same. Sad to hear he's gone, my brother and I were frequent
readers of Crash magazine back in the days and his illustrations left a lasting impression.
** My SID player/tracker AYAY Kaeppttn! on github **  Some CPC music and experiments ** Other music ** More music on scenestream (former nectarine) ** Some shaders ** Some Soundtrakker tunes ** Some tunes in Javascript

My hardware: ** Schneider CPC 464 with colour screen, 64k extension, 3" and 5,25 drives and more ** Amstrad CPC 6128 with M4 board, GreaseWeazle.

That does suck. He was a great artist.

Though a lil warning if you go looking for more of his art.  He drew a lot of gay porn comics, and that's fine but maybe don't go looking when on your work computer or whatever. Even with 'safe search' on google some of the images still show up and might get you in trouble. :)
Favorite CPC games: Count Duckula 3, Oh Mummy Returns, RoboCop Resurrection, Tankbusters Afterlife

Sad news indeed. Found out on Facebook a few days ago.

Gotta be rough on Roger Kean as well, Roger has been battling with his own health issues the last couple of years too.

Left behind an amazing body of work though. It was the one thing Amstrad Action never had, and that was the cover art that Zzap and Crash had. I came along to the scene post Amtix so I didn't catch any issues.

Currently playing on: 2xCPC464, 1xCPC6128, 1x464Plus, 1x6128Plus, 2xGX4000. M4 board, ZMem 1MB and still forever playing Bruce Lee.
No cheats, snapshots or emulation. I play my games as they're intended to be played. What about you?

I had the privilege of meeting him in recent years, he was such a kind and humble person. And he drew me as a ZZAP! reviewer for the Annuals and the revived magazine. So sad.
