Hi,
every year, ReSeT, the Amstrad Party, is held in Coutances/France. Who'll be there???

Eliot/Benediction
Benediction website - Amstrad CPC demogroup (http://bnd.pushnpop.net)
Nobody interested?
Note that Reset is 3 hours from Paris by train (easy), and train is not so expansive in France (60€ for Paris-Coutances + Coutances-Paris). There is probably some (cheap) planes to Paris or an airport near Coutances. MaV can testify?
Add that the CPC 30 Years Old Megademo will be showed on the big screen and release at this moment (probably saturday in the hot night).
If you can't come, try to make a remote entry... And try to win a superb package of 100% pure butter cakes & a barrel of cider :)
You can land in Caen or Rennes (about 100Km from Coutances in both cases)
You also may found many people transiting by Rennes to go to Coutances (I should be one of those :) ).
My visit was in 2012, so my infos are not up to date. I'm sure that booking a flight for months in advance will help getting a cheap ticket to Paris from anywhere in Europe.
Caen or Rennes airport can be a good choice, but usually flights to local airports are a bit more expensive.
But Rennes has a good connection to the the Charles de Gaulle airport, so if like Kris said someone can pick a prospective visitor up in Rennes, that'll make travelling a bit easier.
Mmmmm, butter cakes and cider! :D
Is anyone going by ferry to ReSeT from the UK? I can't make it I'm afraid, but I've got a PCW I'm trying to get to @PulkoMandy (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=26) (so he can get the AY cards tested) and if someone was going by car I thought they could take it with them.
No Eurostar?
@Munchausen (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=792): be careful, Pulkomandy won't be here this year...
Optimus already comes from England some years ago, maybe he can explain us the easiest way to do England-Coutances.
Last time I took the ferry (http://www.brittany-ferries.co.uk/ferry-routes/ferries-france/portsmouth-france).
If I was down in London, I would consider doing the same trip again, it's very nice on the big ferry.
But this year I won't visit.
A friend was suggesting me to take the underwater tunnel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Channel_Tunnel). But I never did.
And of course there is the option of a plane.
From england you have boat to Cherbourg... Cherbourg/Coutances is less than 1H of car.
I should buy a car. And get a driving license first :)

He told me he would be going just yesterday, so I think he will!
I thought that someone might decide to take the ferry from portsmouth (certainly the most direct route and the one I would take). I have family in southampton so this would work. Otherwise if they were taking the eurostar, or a ferry from dover, I live in kent so this would also be quite possible.
Hi, for brave sailors arriving in Cherbourg, this is the local bus-service website:
http://transports.manche.fr/lignes-horaires-maneo-express.asp (http://transports.manche.fr/lignes-horaires-maneo-express.asp)
Have a look at Line 1 and Line 9.
I have a question for the remote graphics competition;
Can the original image include colour cycling?
I'd like to go sometime, but it won't be this year as I'm busy that weekend. :( Hope everyone has fun and appreciates the 30 year demo! :)
