How about a game of Doom? On your blu-ray player?
« on: 11:55, 18 January 20 »
I checked this out myself, and finding it rather impressive.

Doom running on PS3 using Blu-ray Disc Java. Nice framerate.

Using Cybil C -> Java transpiler.

So this tells me, that if anyone ever wanna make a blu-ray Amstrad CPC emulator, it should definitely run fine.
And if there's already an emulator out there coded in C, it's apparently a relatively easy task just convert it.

Hm, only Amstrad Emu coded in C I know of is CPC4X -> http://www.ulrich-cordes.de/cpc/english/cpcemu.htm

But it uses X11 for graphic output, don't know if it can be adapted ....

No videos yet. So far it's an early preview. But the developer seems enthusiastic, so I bet there'll be video later.
If not, I'll probably create one.  ;)

The author made his own video, demonstrating it running on a PlayStation 4.

Really impressive framerate I think, considering it's "just" blu-ray!!
