I've been lurking this forum for so long, so I decided to register :)
I'm a CPC user since 1993, when I got a 464+ for my birthday. I had a Spectrum before, and by that time there were more powerful computers... but I have no regrets ^_^
I'm planning to make an entry in the 16KB ROM compo, and right now I'm coding a CPC emulator in Java (that also emulates other systems)... but I don't know if I have the right skill set 8)
Hi everyone!
Hello Manu and welcome to our forum.
Do you plan to support CPC+ emulation, too with your emulator?
Would be interesting to share sources.
I'm actually working on GX4000 emulation but it's still very inaccurate. Good enough to play the cartridges ;)
You can check the result here:
Applet HTML Page (http://cpc-live.com/GX4000.html)
Cheers,

Hi :)
I'm just starting with the CPC architecture (I already have the Spectrum, Game Boy and Master System almost working), but yes, the idea is to support the whole CPC family!
Your emulator is very advanced, and I would like to see the source some day 8) I will release the project as open source... but when it's more on less "finished"...
My emulator is build on JEMU (http://jemu.winape.net), crap, salt and water :)

Even better !!! Good luck !!!
Welcome to the forum. :)
Looking forward to see your emulator.
Welcome! Nice to see you creating your account, hope you'll be staying with us :) Oh, and of course really looking forward to both your compo entry and the emulator! Woo-hoo!
Hey, thanks for the welcome! 8)
Well, after some days of work, I have a starting point 8)

All the code is written from scratch... and there are a lot of temporary hacks. Z80 timings are the standard ones, the video image is generated frame by frame, and there's no such thing as sound or keyboard input... but I'm very proud of it.
Ooh, can you do DOS too? :D
Just kidding, do keep the thread updated :)
